Nouns such as Geld, Wasser, Tomatenmark designate masses rather than countable items. The mass quantifiers etwas (some), viel (a lot), wenig (very little), ein wenig (not much, some) genug (enough) are used with mass nouns.

Mass modifiers take no endings and do not affect the endings of attributive
adjectives which may follow them.
